Roger Royle is an english Vicar who presents shows on BBC Radio 2.

Reverend Canon Roger Royle was ordained in the Church of England in 1962 and served his first curacy at St. Mary's, Portsea, Portsmouth. During his career he served as Conduct and Senior Chaplain of Eton College. In 1979 he left Eton and became a non-stipendiary curate in the Diocese of Southwark. He also began working as the promoter of a preventative medicine campaign for Save the Children.
In 1990 he was honoured by the Archbishop of Canterbury with a Lambeth Degree in recognition for his work in the media.

He has presented his own television series, 'Royle Progress', for Southern Television, and The Royle Line for Ulster Television. He's also been a regular presenter of 'Songs of Praise' on BBC 1.
His career on BBC has included presenting Good Morning Sunday and A Royle Tour. He is currently the presenter of the BBC radio 2 programe 'Sunday Half Hour' and is a regular contributor to Terry Wogan's Pause for thought.
