[edit] The Mule

The Mule was Plant's first robot. It had 3 kicking legs and a lifter. This well engineered robot seemed to be quite slow. It survived the trial, despite being attacked by the circular saws of both Dead Metal and Sgt. Bash. It won the judge's decision in the semi-final because Demon broke down, but lost the decision in the final with Plunderbird 2.

The Mule proceeded to win the award for Best Engineered robot in the series.

[edit] The Big Cheese

In Series 3, Plant entered with a new robot, The Big Cheese. This large, wedge-shaped robot was armed with a sharp lifting arm. It defeated Shrapnel and Anorakaphobia in the first two rounds of its heat, only to be defeated in the heat final by George Francis's Chaos 2.

[edit] Wheely Big Cheese

Plant's follow-up to Big Cheese was a new robot called Wheely Big Cheese. This robot was build on a narrow wedge base with two metal wheels, studded for traction, on either side, giving it an appearance similar to an axlebot like Stinger. The entire wedge body of the robot was a giant flipper, capeable of flipping robots great distances. It was also capeable of working when the robot was turned upside down.

Wheely Big Cheese First competed in Series 4, where it reached the Semi-Finals after a controversial battle with Suicidal Tendencies only to lose in the first round to Tornado in a battle which left both robots substantially worse for wear.

In Series 5, Wheely Big Cheese returned again. After reaching the Semi-Finals for the second time, they proceeded to fight Dominator 2, only to mysteriously break down after flipping them. In the subsequent Losers Melee to reenter the fight, they and Panic Attack lost to Firestorm 3.

Plant boycotted Robot Wars as he believed competitors should be paid money for entering (as damage from the house robots was costing more than even before). A similar double-flipper design was used by a Series 6 & 7 contestant St. Agro.
