Roger Cholmeley

Sir Roger Cholmeley was founder of Highgate School, which was established by Royal Charter in 1565. Former pupils are known as 'Old Cholmelians' in recognition of his founding of the school.

He held the post of Lord Chief Justice of England from 1552-1553.
