Roger Leandro Cedeño [ceh-DEH-nyo] (born August 16, 1974 in Valencia, Carabobo State, Venezuela), is a Major League Baseball right fielder and switch-hitter batter for the Baltimore Orioles.

Signed by the Los Angeles Dodgers as a non-draft amateur free agent in 1991, Cedeño made his debut in 1995. Cedeño was slated to be the heir apparent to veteran Dodger All-Star outfielder Brett Butler. However, after four seasons of mediocre play with the Dodgers, he played for the New York Mets (1999, 2002-03), Houston Astros (2000) and Detroit Tigers (2001). He was traded by the Mets to the St. Louis Cardinals in 2004.

After posting a batting average of .158, Cedeño was released by the Cardinals early in the 2005 season. Since then, he has disappeared from the professional baseball world.

Cedeño is a .273 hitter with 40 home runs and 274 RBI in 1100 games.

Cedeño is included in the book Field of Hope: An Inspiring Autobiography of a Lifetime of Overcoming Odds (1997), an autobiography of Brett Butler.
