Roger Bowling was a Nashville songwriter in the 1970s specalising in Country music his best known material included "Lucille" and "Coward of the County" both by Kenny Rogers and "Blanket On The Ground" and "What I've Got In Mind" by Billie Jo Spears.He also wrote and recorded "Always one redneck away from loving you" with Dorset poet Maxwell Langdown
