Rodrigo Alvaro Tello Valenzuela (born 14 October 1979 in Santiago, Chile) is a Chilean footballer who plays for Sporting Clube de Portugal.
He began his career at Universidad de Chile making his professional debut on 1999. He made a good impression on his firsts years and was transferred to Sporting Clube de Portugal in exchange of 7 million Euros. Tello plays a big part with Sporting Lisbon where he controls the Left side of the field, where he creates passes to Liedson which most likely end in goals.
