Rodrigo Fresán

Rodrigo Fresán (born 1963 in Buenos Aires, Argentina) is a fiction writer and journalist.
His books are "Historia argentina", "Vidas de santos", "Trabajos manuales", "Esperanto", "La velocidad de las cosas", "Mantra" and "Jardines de Kensington". They have been translated into many languages. His last novel "Kensington Gardens" has recently been translated to english by Natasha Wimmer. Jonathan Lethem, one of the most important writers of NYC, has said about the novel: "He's a kaleidoscopic, open-hearted, shamelessly polymathic storyteller, the kind who brings a blast of oxygen into the room".
Fresán has lived and worked in Barcelona, Spain, since 1999.
He was a friend of the late Chilean writer Roberto Bolaño, and enjoys reading the work of Bob Dylan.
