I reinserted it because it seems to be the heart of the premise of the comic. In light of that, it seems to me that it has to go into the lead of the article. I mean, it's what the comic's about - the return of E2 Superman. Snowspinner 23:48, 16 October 2005 (UTC)

You'd reverted an edit I'd made to the Blue Beetle infoboxes, stating that Wikiproject:Comics preferred not to use roman numerals to distinguish various incarnations of the same character (like BB, or Flash, or GL). You pointed (rather broadly) to the archived talk pages, but I couldn't find the discussion where this was decided. Why have we decided not to showcase which version each person is in the infobox? [edit] IC Characters Who Disappeared
If you'll check the history, I'm not the only person who deleted those names. A lot of characters whose whereabouts were briefly unknown at various times have not been included on those lists. If some people can say we count Pariah as dead because Johns said in an interview outside the comic that the guy is dead even though his death has never been confirmed in the comic, by gosh we can use a shred of common sense and leave those characters off the presumed dead list when we know darn well they're alive a year later. (On the other hand, if we don't quickly learn their whereabouts (i.e., in #7), we'd have to note that they're missing at the end of the series.) Wryspy 07:25, 15 April 2006 (UTC) P.S. And it's not clear exactly how many of them disappeared, regardless of the "ALL" remark. That could mean ALL of the ones who disappeared, not all of Donna's Crew. It was a character's reflexive remark, which we have no reason to consider an accurate assessment.
Okay, you're right that those mentioned as missing in Titans are definitely 100% missing. As for the editorial remark things: EDITORS LIE. At one point, to keep readers wondering, DC said Infinite Crisis would have nothing to do with Crisis on Infinite Earths. Wryspy 23:37, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
Oh, wait a minute. Are we supposed to draw from our One Year Later knowledge or not? If so, it's fair to specify that certain characters are missing because we already know that. HOWEVER, we know that some of them aren't. I know from Hawkgirl that she has not been missing for the last year. Also: I think the debate would be greatly eased if those who read an issue which confirmed someone had remained missing would so note that as was done in the case of Tempest. Seeing how people have gone back and forth on these issues, I apologize for contributing to the editing war on the matter. The fact that so many people keep changing the list does show that we need to find a middle ground. Simply tagging on the word debatable hasn't quite done it. Stating which disappearances have been confirmed would certainly help. I can't do that myself because I haven't read that issue of Titans yet. Wryspy 00:10, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
