I am Peter Lambert (born May 14, 1971 in Newcastle, Australia).
I was raised in the adjoining city of Lake Macquarie (considered to be part of the greater Newcastle district) and was heavily involved in music from ages 8 to 20. I primarily played trombone, although at times played eupohinum, baritone, piano and guitar.
I am an [[Australia|Australian, although I lived in the Seattle, Washington area in USA for nearly 6 years in the 1990s, after leaving the Royal Australian Navy where I was a Radio Operator sailor. While in USA i worked for Microsoft Corporation, and worked as a contractor for Adobe, Boeing, Nintendo and Edmark amongst others. It was while living in USA that I started my love affair with ice hockey, becoming a regular at WHL Seattle Thunderbirds games and watching every possible Vancouver Canucks game on TV, and one game live prior to the Stanley Cup finals in Vancouver, British Columbia in 1994.
I returned to Australia in 1998, and after a year working in Sydney returned to my home town of Newcastle, Australia. From Newcastle I have worked as a computer trainer, a consultant, web site author and real estate agent (property manager). I now work as a IT Course Coordinator and Business Development officer for a community college, WEA Hunter.
In 2000 my life changed when an ice rink was completed very close to my parent's home, in Warners Bay. After a year of volunteering and learning/playing ice hockey, I became the founding Team Manager for the Newcastle North Stars ice hockey team. I am still heavily involved with the North Stars, now fullfilling a communications role tagged as 'Promotions Manager'.
I 2005 I married my fiance Samantha Euston, whom I met in 2001 and had been engaged to for two years. We have a three bedroom house, with a big enclosed 'outdoor' room for parties, and a RSPCA moggy cat called 'Frodo'.
