[edit] Removal of links
The link to Rocky Mountain National Park at National Parks Gallery was removed by User:Pschemp claiming it was "link spam." The link is very high quality, and contains an abundance of useful and relevant content. It's also interesting to note that the link to TerraGalleria remains, which is most definitely a commercial site, and was one of a great many links added by a single user (which you'd think would also be considered to be "link spam" - not that I do). - To the people using IP addresses to re-add these links, please do not. They are considered linkspam. See User_talk:Npgallery/Archive1. Nationalparks 23:30, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

- No, they're not. What is spam is your personal page at MIT that promotes "get paid to read email" programs. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.33.162.63 (talk • contribs) .

- Keep in mind that this is Wikipedia, not my personal website. I have never spammed my personal site to anyone. (Why do I even have to defend my non-Wiki actions here?) Every person who commented on the mediation cabal that User:Npgallery began agreed that these links are spam. I have started an entry at the village pump, here. - Ugh -- my definition of "linkspam" is a lot less strict than many here (that is, I'd allow a lot more links than many others), but when a cite has a huge, migraine-inducing throbbing add covring the entire left side of the main page, to the point where I couldn't even stand to stick around to see if the site had any valid content or not -- then it doesn't belong in Wikipedia. --Rehcsif 04:34, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Destubbing
FWIW, I'm beginning an effort to destub this article, feel free to contribute/change as necessary Adagio 15:20, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
