- Hmm, I've learned differently. Basically there are two mindsets — fluid flow vs structure. The fluid flow mindset will view any discontinuity as a fracture (which is also the definition of fracture), however, the structural geologist will view only stress-related fractures as the definition of fractures. Perhaps this should be re-included in that context. (I may get to this some day). +mwtoews 07:59, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
