There are also two Wisconsin towns named Rockland.

Rockland is a village in La Crosse County, Wisconsin, along the La Crosse River. It is part of the La Crosse, Wisconsin Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 628 at the 2000 census.

Rockland is located at 43°54′22″N, 90°55′6″W (43.906115, -90.918369)GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.4 km² (0.5 mi²). None of the area is covered with water.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 628 people, 213 households, and 166 families residing in the village. The population density was 449.0/km² (1,156.4/mi²). There were 216 housing units at an average density of 154.4/km² (397.7/mi²). The racial makeup of the village was 98.41% White, 0.16% African American, 0.16% Native American, 0.48% Asian, and 0.80% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.16% of the population.

There were 213 households out of which 41.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 66.2% were married couples living together, 7.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 21.6% were non-families. 18.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 8.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.82 and the average family size was 3.20.

In the village the population was spread out with 29.3% under the age of 18, 6.7% from 18 to 24, 32.5% from 25 to 44, 22.1% from 45 to 64, and 9.4% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 34 years. For every 100 females there were 115.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 123.1 males.

The median income for a household in the village was $46,429, and the median income for a family was $50,714. Males had a median income of $31,563 versus $20,357 for females. The per capita income for the village was $17,914. About 6.7% of families and 8.6% of the population were below the poverty line, including 15.6% of those under age 18 and none of those age 65 or over.
