Rockin with Suzi Q

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Rockin with Suzi Q is a weekly radio show broadcast on BBC Radio 2, featuring former Glam rock star Suzi Quatro playing her favourite rock and roll songs from the 50's and 60's. Suzi has in the past interviewed such rock legends as: ACDC, Little Bobby Brown, the Rolling Stones and the Superficial Drama Queens. One of Suzi's most controversial interviews was with Bob Dylan about his views on music, contraception and gun laws. This interview never went to air because of the racial slurrs that were made. Bob shot off his mouth and said "I hate Charlie" and then tried to cover it up by saying "...Brown. I hate Charlie Brown. Annoying kid."

The current series ended on the July 6, 2006, ending early from lack of funding, but a new series will start later this year thanks to the hefty donation from Sir. E. John.

Suzi Quatro will be presenting a new show called We can be the Next Heroes of Rock and Roll starting on 31st September 2008.
