Rockin' the Joint is a live album by Aerosmith, which was released on October 25, 2005 (see 2005 in music).
Rockin' the Joint is available as either a recular CD or a Dual Disc. (A Dual Disc is a CD on one side and a DVD on the other.) It was recorded in January 2002 at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas The album consists of Aerosmith classics and more recent songs performed live.
Critical reaction was polarized, and the album didn't fare well commercially, only reaching #24 in the US before quickly falling off the charts.
The band launched the highly successful Rockin' the Joint Tour in conjunction with the album's release. The North American tour ran from October 2005 to March 2006.
