Rockenhausen is a town and a municipality in the Donnersbergkreis, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is situated on the river Alsenz, approx. 20 km north of Kaiserslautern.

Rockenhausen is also the seat of the Verbandsgemeinde ("collective municipality") Rockenhausen, which consists of the following Ortsgemeinden ("local municipalities"):
