Rock the Park is an annual Classic Rock music festival held at Harris Park in London, Ontario, Canada, that is currently in its third year.

It is also known as "Hawk Rocks the Park" because of one of its primary sponsors, a Classic Rock Radio station known as 103.9 The Hawk. Usually the festival is headlined by a very well-known group. At the first Rock the Park in 2004 it was Steppenwolf, at the second Rock the Park in 2005 it was ZZ Top and in 2006 it was Alice Cooper.

The second edition of Rock the Park was held over four days during July 21-24, 2005. Due to the success of the first concert, this second one was expanded to four days, during which over 40,000 Rock fans attended. It featured many different groups, including:

Thursday, July 21

Friday, July 22

Saturday, July 23

Sunday, July 24

Held July 20-22, 2006, the groups that took part were:

Friday, July 21

Saturday, July 22

There were rumors that the concert will be expanded out to four days (similar to Rock the Park II) but it stayed at three, like the first one. [edit] Rock the Park IV

Rock the Park IV has officially been announced for the weekend of July 19-21, 2007. Performers for the event will likely be announced in February of 2007. It has been rumored that the concert will also be spread out to other local cities, such as Woodstock (which would make sense because The Hawk is stationed there) or Kitchener.
