Rochester Community Schools District serves Rochester Hills, Rochester, and the Charter Township of Oakland in the U.S. state of Michigan. It currently has upwards of 14,500 students in 21 buildings.

Currently, the Rochester Community Schools teachers are working out-of-contract. The Board has proposed that teachers accept a plan similiar to Para-Educators, Administrators, Grounds Workers, and Bus Drivers. The proposal includes an elimination in vision insurance, and for teachers to pay 5% of the cost of their insurance, which would be offset by wage increases and other benefits.
