Roccafluvione is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Ascoli Piceno in the Italian region Marche, located about 80 km south of Ancona and about 8 km west of Ascoli Piceno. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,184 and an area of 60.8 km2.[1]
Roccafluvione borders the following municipalities: Acquasanta Terme, Ascoli Piceno, Comunanza, Montegallo, Palmiano, Venarotta.
Luigi Ferri was born in Roccafluvione in 1895. He emigrated to Pennsylvania, USA. His son Anthony Ferri, married to Helen Grevish, produced one son who went on to become a world-famous trumpeter. Dennis Ferri (né Ferry) is Principal Trumpet (Trompette Solo) of the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande in Geneva, Switzerland.
