Very nice message, thanks for the corrections, I am not a native speaker, but that kind of help will allow me to improve my (rusty) English. I hope I will find some more time to read on styleguides etc, it is too tempting to type very soon. See you around. Robert_Dober 19:10 Oct 14, 2002 (UTC)

Hello. I took out the links from Contract bridge playing technique, because I thought they couild maybe all go on the same page. But having seen the article on Finesse, I realise there's a probably lot to be said on each. All the same, I'm wary of the 3-tier setup we now have, with contract bridge at the top and the playing technique article in the middle. I'm pondering merging the technique article into the main bridge page, but that's awfully long too. Maybe we can syphon some of that off to History of bridge? I'll leave that up to you, as I'm not knowledgeable on this subject. One other thing though: it's important to link back to articles, for example Finesse should have a link back to contract bridge. People can land on articles from anywhere, so it's vital to establish the context of something. Welcome to the 'pedia! :) -- Tarquin 18:52 Oct 15, 2002 (UTC)

I like that you're adding bridge techniques, and many of them (squeeze plays in particular) are not elsewhere covered well on the web. But they do tend to use some lower-level jargon that isn't here yet either. The squeezes, for example, talk about having the count or not; that is not covered here yet. Perhaps some more introductory material would be good. --LDC

There is a note for you at Talk:Progressive squeeze

likewise Suicide squeeze and Squeezee. Please Wikipedia:establish context! -- Tarquin 10:50 2 Jul 2003 (UTC)
