Born Robert Joseph Alexander Dalma Lalonde, this up and comming film director is one to look out for. Trying to span every genre and create a new style of filmaking, his work and him are being credited as "The Next-Gen Filmaker" and "New and Fresh". Born in a small town, outside of Calgary, Alberta Canada has given him a good understanding of how well people communicate and well farm. Since the age of 4, Robert has been making short films with basically anything he can get his hands on. In 2001 he embarked on the short film “This Is Necessary” Directed by his cousin Michael Olson. His cousin taught him basically everything there is to know about movies. After “This Is Necessary” he Directed a series of short comedies, and WW2 propaganda re-enactment’s. In October of 2004 he paired up with his cousin again to work on a short entitled “Pitter Patter” in which Robert was the Documentarian, and the camera assistant, upon helping with directing. He is now working on “Disectipated” the documentary to “Pitter Patter” and another documentary on heavy metal bands in Alberta. He is also heavy into pre-production on his next short “From Z-A” (A reversionary satirical short about a killers aversion with the world, and a mans deceitfulness on his girlfriend. Which in the conclusion leads to demise) and his feature film “Rit Mit”. His wisdom of films can be seen in how he directs, staying true to old methods and using some of the most unusual angles ever imagined (He always has a shot from inside a box and under a bed). Saying he is the next anybody would be taking away from his genius. Lets just say he’s the next Robert Lalonde.

He is currently working on a Film "The Pestering Inferno" An Alberta Metal documentry about the past and present in the growing culture that is Alberta Metal music; and to uncover the kinds of people that are in metal bands, be it your trusted doctor or family lawyer.

Has also worked at The Eagle 100.9FM in High River, AB and for Lalonde Auctions.
