RobbieFal is the shortening of "Robert Falken". I first used the name on the site Fark.com. Falken descends from "Falcon" (for the Atlanta Falcons, the doomed opponents of the Denver Broncos). It's a coincidence that Falken is spelt the same as the character from WarGames, I swear.

Currently, I "participate" on Fark.com (over 600 submitted links approved) and Metafilter (from time to time).

My interests vary, from politics, to history, to sports.

[edit] Democrat Party v. Democratic Party

Democrat Party dates back to the Republicans and the 1940s. It's also a phrase which while refering to the Democratic Party, is also basically a slur on the party itself.

Granted, in the future, maybe we'll have a Democrat Party and a Republican't Party.
