There is no incontrovertible description of the armed forces in Robotech (though there are some that are much more plausible and sensible than what was in this article), and the various sources (TV series, novels, comics, etc.) contradict each other constantly. The more extreme of the implausible supposition has been removed from this article pending either complete removal or overhaul.
