Talk:Robben Ford
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
It seems odd to me that the release of Robben Ford albums is compared to when another guitarist (Jeff Beck, Joe Satriani) released an album.
I agree. If the motive of the authors is to try to compare Mr. Ford with all those other guitarists ( who are definitely outstanding in their own right), then its a pointless exercise. Mr. Ford although underrated by many, in my humble opinion certainly is one of america's greatest modern blues and fusion guitarist. If Miles Davis, the King of Jazz himself hired this cat to be his sideman, what does that tell you? His style of playing is and has always been an essential part of a serious guitarist's study not only in America but in all other places.
