    • VEB Robotron-Elektronik in Radeberg
    • VEB Robotron Vertrieb Berlin, mit Betriebsteil in Stralsund

[edit] Rebranding activities

Robotron was unable to manufacture certain appliances, but the GDR did not want to admit this, either to the West or to their own people. For example, EPSON printers were imported from Japan, then rebranded. An example can be seen in the Stasi Archive Museum, Berlin.

Just before German Reunification, on 23 August 1990 the Robotron database software company was split off.
