RoboBlitz is a unique third person puzzle based game for Microsoft Windows and Xbox 360. It was released on November 7, 2006, developed by Naked Sky Entertainment. It was also the first PC game to be released using the Unreal Engine 3.

The player controls Blitz, a robot who attains special upgrade weapons and powers to fight his foes, based upon how much "Upgradium" he can find in the game. Special powers include unique weapon, energy and movement upgrades.

As of November 2006, this game was downloadable on the Steam digital download system. It was released for Xbox Live Arcade on December 6, 2006.

RoboBlitz also uses a dynamic texture creation method called procedural texture.[1] It is used to make the game file size smaller (the actual game is less than 50 megabytes on Xbox Live.)

[edit] Reception

RoboBlitz has been nominated for the 2007 Independent Games Festival for both the Seumas McNally Grand Prize and Excellence in Visual Art awards.[1]
