Robertson Field (FAA LID: 4B8) is a public airport located two miles (3 km) north of the central business district (CBD) of Plainville, a town in Hartford County, Connecticut, USA. It covers 39 acres and has one runway and one helipad.
The airport is operated by Interstate Aviation and owned by the town of Plainville. The airport is open to the public and is primarily used for charter flights and flight training through Interstate Aviation. Interstate Aviation has a fleet of 17 aircraft; primarily Cessna 172 Skyhawks. It is rumored that Roberston Field is the oldest airport in Connecticut but this has been the topic of debate.
Connecticut's Governor John H. Trumbull (1925-1931, a Plainville native is known to have used the airfield and was dubbed "The Flying Governor".
