Roberto Luiz Warken

Roberto Luiz Warken was born on September 12, 1959, in the city of Florianópolis, state of Santa Catarina, Brazil.
Roberto Luiz Warken graduated with a B.A. degree in Social Sciences and Sociology in southern Brazil. He also became a Sexual Education specialist and the holder of a masters degree in Education and Culture.
Additionally Roberto Luiz Warken belongs to the Human Rights Commission of the Order of Attorneys of Brazil (or the Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil)/State of Santa Catarina region; and he is a teacher, a consultant and an advocate working with many educational sectors.
Roberto Luiz Warken has a long history of social activism in his home country and for many years he has been a very influential opinion maker inside and outside of the new and dynamic Brazilian Queer movement.
