Roberto Boninsegna

Roberto Boninsegna (born November 13, 1943 in Mantova, Italy) is an Italian former football (soccer) player.
He started his career in Serie B (Italian 2nd divisione) with FC Potenza. Boninsegna gained a status as an efficient striker with Internazionale and Italy in the 1970s. In Serie A he totalled 171 goals in 281 games, and was top goalscorer in Italy in 1971 and 1972. He went on to finish his career at Juventus.
Boninsegna scored Italy's only goal (though at the time it was an important equaliser) in the 1970 FIFA World Cup final against Brazil, which Italy ultimately lost 4-1.
