Robert Wauchope (archbishop)

Robert Wauchope was the Roman Catholic Archbiship of Armagh from 1539 to 1551. He succeeded Primate Cromer who was suspected of heresy by the Holy See and deposed by Henry VIII. He was a distinguished theologian and assisted at the Council of Trent.
