Robert Oakley

Robert Oakley was born in Dallas, Texas and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana. He graduated from Princeton University in 1952, with a Bachelors degree in Philosophy and History. A former U.S. State Department coordinator for counterterrorism during the 1980s, Oakley also has served as U.S. ambassador to Pakistan, Zaire and Somalia[1].
