Robert Arthur Selby Lowe is a British-Australian paedophile, who kidnapped, raped and murdered six year old Sheree Beasley.

He was a protestant Sunday school teacher and church elder. He had sexual convictions dating back to 1956.

When Sheree disappeared, the media initially reported that she had left a pink helmet with a bicycle at a bike stand.

Around the same time, two witnesses observed a man bundle a young girl into a car and drive off, with the girl (wearing a pink helmet) screaming for help. Because she was in fact wearing the helmet at the time of her abduction, those witnesses did not think to come forward for two years.

Lowe was sentenced in 1994 to life in prison.
