Robert Greenwald

Robert Greenwald (born August 28, 1945 in New York, New York) is an American film director and producer.
Greenwald is often described as progressive or left-wing and is closely aligned with Moveon.org. In his documentaries he has tackled some of the biggest subjects of the day, including the war in Iraq. His 2004 film, Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch's War on Journalism, was described by Wired as "a unique sleeper hit". His previous films include Steal This Movie, about Abbie Hoffman.
In November 2004, he co-founded Brave New Films, and since May 2005 has been a contributing blogger at The Huffington Post.
