Robert E. Aufuldish

Robert E. Aufuldish is the current Lake County Ohio Commissioner. Lake County, Ohio is a suburban county immediately east of Cleveland, Ohio. Originally elected in 1996 in the closest election in Lake County's history. His opponent was originally verified the winner by the Lake County Board of elections but later reversed their decision after it was found that one precinct had a mathematical error. In 2000 Commissioner Aufuldish beat current Lake County Republican Chairman Dale Fellows by a comfortable margin. Despite being in office for eight years, Commissioner Aufuldish was the underdog in 2004 when former Commissioner and current State Senator Robert Gardner opposed him. Commissioner Aufuldish won with a very surprising margin.
Before being elected in 1996, Aufuldish was a City Councilman and Mayor of Wickliffe, Ohio.
