Robert Carter (English novelist)

Robert Carter (b. 1955, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, UK) is an English novelist. His works of fiction include four historical novels (Armada, 1988; Talwar, 1992; Courage, 1995, Barbarians 1998;) and a mythic history trilogy entitled The Language of Stones (2004-2006).
Carter was educated in England, Australia and Texas, USA. He worked for the BBC in London before becoming a full-time novelist in 1986. He has also written for film and television and authored computer games software.
