Robert Burch
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Robert Burch (born 8 October 1984) is a former England Under-20 international goalkeeper who turned professional with Tottenham Hotspur in July 2002. Burch has been loaned out to Conference clubs Woking (2003) and Stevenage Borough (twice in 2004/05) in order to gain some first-team experience. He was also loaned to West Ham United in December 2004 but, despite being an unused substitute on six occasions, he failed to make a first-team appearance for the Upton Park club. Indeed, frustration was the name of the game for Robert last term as injuries restricted him to just seven reserve team appearances.
Burch was back on loan in 2005-06 with a stint at Bristol City but, again, a senior debut eluded him.
