Robert Alexander Rankin

Robert Alexander Rankin (27 October 1915 in Garlieston, Wigtownshire, Scotland – 27 January 2001 in Glasgow, Scotland) was a mathematician who worked on modular forms and invented the Rankin-Selberg method.
