Robbie Winters (born November 4, 1974 in East Kilbride) is a Scottish footballer. He is a former Dundee United and Aberdeen player, and currently plays for S.K. Brann in Norway. He has one cap for Scotland. He's a comparatively small, quick player, known for his effective diagonal runs plus his assists and goal scoring abilities. Despite his height, he scores frequently from headers. In recent seasons, he has been one of Brann's most important players and one of the biggest fan favourites. In the 2006 season, Norwegian experts such as Nils Johan Semb have frequently called him one of the best strikers in the Norwegian Premier League.
After several seasons with hints about leaving Bergen due to family-issues, Winters stated on October 31, that he no longer had the motivation needed to play for SK Brann, and that he wishes to leave the club in January [1].
