Robbie Loomis

Robbie Loomis is a NASCAR mechanic. His first professional job came with Petty Enterprises in 1990, when he replaced Dale Inman as Richard Petty's crew chief. He worked with Petty Enterprises for 9 years, but signed on with Hendrick Motorsports in 2000 to be Jeff Gordon's crew chief. They originally struggled at first, but won the championship the next year and scored the most points together in the 2004 season. In 2006, Loomis returned to Petty Enterprises as a director of competition. His appointment is expected to return the team back to a competitive nature.
