Rob Payne
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Rob Payne is a Canadian novelist.
Payne is the author of three dramatic-comedy novels, and one science fiction, comedy-adventure novel. He is also known for his work as a writer and/or editor for such publications as The Globe and Mail, Canadian Fiction, Front & Centre and Quarry.
Similarities in style and tone have been noted between Payne and English author Nick Hornby, and Irish author Roddy Doyle, but these connections have mainly been made by reviewers and critics.[citation needed] Whether or not Payne believes himself to be influenced by such authors is unwritten.
