Rob Cantrell

Rob Cantrell is an American comedian based in the Bay Area. He participated in the 1st and 3rd seasons of NBC's reality television show Last Comic Standing.

Rob was eliminated in the early rounds of Last Comic Standing in season one, but earned the respect of the audience and his peers by choosing to compete against presumed favorite Ralphie May. Rob put together a strong comedy set, including non-sequiter lines like "i will dance with my fronkies" (a half-frog, half-monkey creation) and "i'm a semi-colon, nobody knows what the hell I do," but lost to an excellent performance by May.

Rob has performed for several years in clubs and theaters nationwide, and has appeared on CBS's Late Late Show and Comedy Central's Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn. He emceed a NORML fundraiser in Hollywood, CA and recently produced a documentary comedy film Metaphysical Graffiti that showed at the Cannes Film Festival in 2005.
