[edit] Added Australia
I've rewritten the intro and added quite a bit about Australian Traffic Control. I've also deleted one pic which wasn't relevant, and a UK outlink which wasn't relevant after my rewrite.
I'm going to propose a RENAME to "Road traffic control" once we get the proposed merge out of the way. Gordon | Talk, 11 October 2006 @05:51 UTC
[edit] Germany?
Should not Germany get a mention? I seem to remember that they were recently top in some EU report for managing this sort of thing. Idg555 16:57, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
- No problems. Find someone who knows German Traffic Control, and persuade him/her to write it up. Easy. Seriously, the more the merrier: it's a bit sad that only Oz has a decent representation on this page. Gordon | Talk, 12:07, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Proposed RENAME to "Road traffic control"
The term Traffic control covers a multitude of sins, including -- but not limited to -- air travel, computers, sea travel and peak-hour traffic management.
This article specifically looks at vehicular traffic control around road-work sites and off-road construction sites which impinge on road users.
Therefore -- to differentiate it from other valid "traffic control" subjects, I propose renaming it to Road traffic control. Gordon | Talk, 12 October 2006 @12:42 UTC

Proposal and one support in one week. The page has been renamed. I will build a disambig page in the very near future. Gordon | Talk, 19 October 2006 @12:37 UTC
