Talk:Road & Track Ten Best

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Was the Camaro ever a sedan or is this just confused terminology?

It never had four doors, but "sedan", especially a few decades ago, was normally used to refer to a vehicle with two functional rows of seats and a large interior volume. Today, any vehicle with two doors is a "coupe", but back then this referred to a vehicle with little or no rear seating space. And yes, Road & Track really did call the Camaro a sedan in 1971 even though it looked something like this. --SFoskett 21:28, August 8, 2005 (UTC)
