Roanoke Bible College is a private Christian college located in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. It was founded in 1948 to train preachers for churches in eastern North Carolina and the Tidewater region of Virginia. Roanoke Bible College is supported by Independent Christian Churches/Churches of Christ, which is part of the Restoration Movement. It is a four-year institution in good standing with two nationally recognized accrediting agencies, SACS and ABHE, to grant certificates, associate's degrees, and bachelor's degrees. Roanoke also has agreements with Elizabeth City State University and College of the Albemarle allowing dual enrollment. Current enrollment stands at 185 with approximately 15 faculty members.
Roanoke Bible College first received school accreditation in 1999 when it became an accredited member of the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.[1]
