Roads in the Isle of Man

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Roads in the Isle of Man range in size and quality, from narrow country roads to larger roads, and even a small stretch of dual carriageway.

Over 500 miles of road are named using a similar numbering scheme to that used in the numbering of roads in Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Each road is assigned a letter, which represents the road's category, and a subsequent number, 1 or 2 digits in length. "A" Roads constitute the main roads of the island whilst roads labelled B to D will decrease in size and or quality.
