The Road World Championships 2005 was a bicycle race.

These are the results for the 2005 World Cycling Championships road race. Despite several rumours before the race that some Belgian cyclists would ride for Davitamon-Lotto team mate Robbie McEwen, the Belgian squad did a good job and their leader Tom Boonen won the race.
