This article is about a fictional weapon from the After War timeline of the anime Gundam metaseries.

The Crouda was the first new mobile suit mass produced by the Space Revolutionary Army after the 7th Space War. This unit was highly maneuverable and also heavily armored, its abilities matching the Gundams created by the United Nations Earth. Following the style of the RMS-014 Octape's design, the Crouda was equipped to handle various types of combat. Vulcans for anti-personal and less armored targets, Beam Rifles and Beam Sabers for combat against other mobile suits and the new beam cutter. This new weapon used a large beam blade projected from the Crouda's back, it could be used to slice through a battleship in a few seconds.

However, the Crouda's abilities were hindered by a great flaw. In an attempt to allow great agility in every direction, the designers place one of the Crouda's main thrusters on its chest. A direct shot of a beam weapon could easily go through that point, destroying the entire unit in a single blow.

One commander type unit of the Crouda was used by former Newtype ace pilot Lancerow Dawell. The commander type model had antennas mounted on the head and an improved beam resistance. The standard Crouda, though able to take hits of beam weapons without problems, loses part of its armor, which melts partially in the area hit by the attack, however, Lancerow's Crouda was hit by two concentrated shots of the scattering beam cannon of Pala's G-Falcon without showing similar damage.
