[edit] License tagging for Image:Delano hitch.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Delano hitch.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 14:07, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Goblu and Beatosu
Welcome to Wikipedia! We could really use your help to create new content, but your recent additions (such as Goblu and Beatosu) are considered nonsense. Please refrain from creating nonsense articles. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Mhking 21:04, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
- As opposed to what appears to be a nonsense article about two names that no one would search on, perhaps an article on road map copyright traps would have been a more appropriate title, and certainly one less likely to be construed as a nonsense article. There was no intent on offending, however, when something appears to be nonsensical, it is usually addressed quickly by myself or others who patrol for such things. --Mhking 21:25, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
- "No one"? Says who? You? read the damned article first before you pass judgements. And try being a bit more polite. RMc 21:45, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] WKBS-TV (Philadelphia)
Your insistence in adding the reference to WKBS' final broadcast being the first Kickoff Classic game is growing tiredsome. As I mentioned in the article's talk page, this is trivial and insignificant to the article, and does not belong here. The game (through the teams involved) is already mentioned within the quote of Vincent Barresi's sign-off address.
You obviously are trying to prove a point, which can lead to trouble if you insist on re-adding this line. I have removed this line, and will continue to do so if you keep adding it. Rollosmokes 07:28, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
For tha absolute last time, stop adding this TRIVIAL reference. It has no place in this article, and I am tired of deleting it. And, just how am I being uncivil by asking you nicely to stop? Rollosmokes 16:50, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
- The reference really is trivial, and doesn't really belong in the article. I would also ask that you observe WP:CIVIL and WP:NPA. Calling someone a "jerk" repeatedly, as you've done in your edit summaries, is a personal attack. Please remember to keep calm when editing; no one on Wikipedia benefits from name-calling. Best wishes, Firsfron of Ronchester 01:54, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry, but it was Rollosmokes who started with the "personal attacks," not me. Read his talk page sometime: he seems to enjoy getting into edit wars on the flimsiest of pretenses. We're talking about nine words, people. Nine words. RMc 14:20, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Give it up
Firsfron is an administrator, and he agreed with me that those "nine words" you are hellbent on keeping in this article are TRIVIAL. Yet you re-added them, which led to another user, Mattderojas, deleting them with the promise of repeating the task if they resurface again. Take a hint.
And, how am I uncivil towards you when it was YOU who called me a "jerk" and a "numbskull", and has taunted me with gems like "Is your manhood threatened or something?" PUHLEEZE, get a grip. And look in the mirror at yourself before you criticize someone else. Rollosmokes 16:32, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to make personal attacks on other people, you will be blocked for disruption. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Thank you. ✎ Peter M Dodge aka "Wiz" (Talk to Me) (Support Neutrality) 00:59, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] No personal attacks
Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Firsfron of Ronchester 18:15, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
