[edit] A-class review
I only got half way through the article earlier. You will see part 2 after I review more. — ERcheck (talk) 01:17, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
- First pass article review completed. See Talk:Cambodian_Civil_War#Clarifications_request.2C_part_2. There are still some tone issues, which have been noted in the WikiProject A-class review. All in all, the article is quite good. — ERcheck (talk) 02:43, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Battle of Khe Sanh
You did a really excellent job on this article. Have you thought about nominating it as a featured article? Raul654 03:13, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Comment about tone
Sorry RM... I left a comment at talk:Battle of Khe Sanh and although it was a little while ago I would like to catch up on it...
Your reply was a bit condescending. I have had more of a look at the article and I see now that the lead section is indeed about right given the lenght of the article. To be honest I still think some of the sections go on a bit too long - not that they aren't well written but in line with WP:MOS and WP:SIZE. Having that opinion doesn't really warrant a reply that, if I was a newbie, would prompt me to ask about being bitten. As it was - I backed off for a few days, re-read it and I still don't like the tone.
However - it's quite a well presented article, even if my generation x attention span can't cope with it (ironically, for the same reason - I find that article too much also!). I came on the article by chance and it was marked as wanting comment for improvement. My comments were made in good faith and your response was a bit harsh.Garrie 03:40, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
