Riyadh as-Saaliheen (The Gardens of the Righteous), which is a collection of hadith (sayings of the Prophet Muhammad), is the most famous book by Imam an-Nawawi. In total, it contains 1896 hadith divided into 130 chapters. It is one of the most prolific works of hadith following the six Sunans.

Although not all of the hadith in Riyadh as-Saaliheen are authentic, it contains mostly strong hadith and is well regarded by the scholars of hadith in Islam.

Books of commentary on the hadith in Riyadh as-Saaliheen have been written, including the most recent one by Muhammad ibn Uthaymeen.

Traditionalist Sunni scholars have criticised the Salafi English translation of this book [1][2].
