Riya is a photo sharing service with Web 2.0 features. Photos can be uploaded, searched and sorted. The key feature is a facial recognition system which automatically identifies the people in the photographs you've put online. Your photos can then be shared with everyone else, just your friends, or just yourself. The service is currently in the beta stages of testing and only currently supports Internet Explorer 6 and Firefox. After a very successful presentation at Demo06 Riya walked off with a DemoGod award. On november 11th 2006, riya relocated to www.like.com

On March 21, 2006, Riya opened beta testing membership to the public at its groundTruth page.
